Lake Atitlan

Bathing in Lake Atitlan is a regular occurrence. Cleanliness after the fact is relative.. Pollution in the lake is slowly killing the entire ecosystem. Guatemala is trying hard to reverse the damage done to the lake before it dies altogether and forces many villages away from their primary source of water and food.
