"How do you take portrait like you do?"

I remember asking this question to a few dozen photographers 3 years ago. Their 1 or 2 paragraph replies never satisfied me. I swore if the day came where people asked me that question I'd do whatever I can to answer them.

Unfortunately I can't point anyone towards a specific article or tutorial. There's no one trick or YouTube video that will answer your questions or help you create amazing portraits over night.

Over the past 6 months I've written at least a dozen viral articles. I haven't covered every area of portraiture yet but there's more then enough to get started on.
