Night scene, Singapore River

For more than a century, the Singapore River served as the main artery for Singapore's entrepot trade. The downside was that the river became massively polluted and housed thousands of squatters. After a massive clean up program by the government in the 70s, the river is now flanked by high-end condominiums and a myriad of restaurants and bars.

The red light streak in the foreground is a 20s exposure of a riverboat plying the river, composited with a 0.5s exposure for the lights on the three towers in the background.

Shot with the Nikon D850 and Nikkor 16-35 f4.
