Brave puppy Bear was an absolute star in the studio... starting his modelling career early!
The cavapoo breed is notorious for its fluffy fur so it was important to angle my light to help bring out the eyes as much as possible. A low positioned light that is in line with the eyes as much as possible allowed me to lift any shadows, creating that catchlight in the eye.
When in the studio always plan your lighting and how it will affect the subject. You need to be in complete control and understand what positions your lights should be in to create the look you want.
