The Kraken

I had the day off today and had to drive my fiancee to work this morning in the snow. So, I took my camera with me and decided to revise some locations I had been to before in different conditions! I didn't get great light because of the cloud cover, but it was fun being outside!
Part of the adventure was driving up into the hills behind downtown Portland. I made it before anyone else had made it back in there and made fresh tracks. The AWD on my car worked pretty well and luckily didn't slip or slide at all because there were some steep sections and drop-offs. As I was coming back from the hike I saw a plow come through and clear it off laying down some sand behind him. Perfect timing for me!!!
