Found en route to Mt. St. Helen's, the Hoffstadt Creek Bridge in Washington state is the largest and highest bridge along the Spirit Lake Memorial Highway. A deck truss bridge with a main span of 600 feet the bridge opened in 1991 and was built as part of the replacement the original highway that was destroyed by the eruption of Mount Saint Helens in 1980. Although I've lived in view of the mountain for almost two decades, this was my first trip up to Helen's. It's a pretty epic place, if the have the opportunity to visit.
