My son and I drive up to a place called High Rocks, near Mt. Hood on a warm August night. We started up late watching the sun go down, then I got up early to watch it rise. As the sun came over there Cascades, this view of Mt. Adams came into view. Even though we were at elevation, the morning was incredibly warm and calm. Perfect, really.
