In Over My Head

I was traveling out west last year and a friend from Florida was going to be in California too. We met at a beach on Hwy 1 called Gray Whale Cove State Beach in Half Moon Bay. I was bummed to see that it was overcast, but I ended up being totally ok with the lighting. There was no one else on the beach and it was beautiful. The waves were not even close to crashing upon this rock in the picture until I had her sit there. My camera got the shot just in time and then we were both completely soaked, and thankfully my camera survived! Do it for the gram!
