The Superstition Mountains illuminated by the moon. When I took this shot I had just started exploring the world of night photography. I had wanted to capture the Milky Way rising above the mountain side. A failed attempt as I didn’t know too much about the moon rise and set and positioning. Still, one of my favorite night photos as the clouds put on a good show!
Another good image, Kevin! Beautifully lit, especially the glow on the middle distance "scree" part of the mountains. The dappled cloud & stars are a good combo.
