Out on the Washington coast, I wanted to experiment with night shots and high ISO. My D3300 struggled, and the image is grainy, but I still love looking at the picture of my friends dancing in the ocean with the seastacks in the background.

I no longer look at grain as an imperfection but yet another element in a creative toolbox.
I have shot many longer exposures in a similar vein, well done straying away from the literal.
