Tenerife is a very good place to see the milky way. All you need to do is get up to the desert when you will be above cloud level. the rest is getting a decent composition and then fire it away. These flowers are called Tajinaste and are a world's excusive on this island. Unfortunately I was just a week late for seeing the beautiful bloom of it. But even without bloom this huge flower is very impressive.
