A kp 1 usually means you have almost no chances to see strong northern lights. If you’re lucky and it’s cleared you’ll see a green stain only in your camera, imperceptible to the naked eye. But seldom, with an ounce of luck, you can see her intensely dancing despite the horrible aurora forecast. That’s what happened the night we slept in the gorgeous Gođafoss waterfall in northern Iceland. With the hopes at rock bottom we had one of the most incredible nights of our lifes.
