A Canyon in the Sky

In September 2018 we were visiting the Icelandic Highlands and the sky was pretty cleared. As the auroras of the previous night were intense, we crossed our fingers for something similar in a unique and difficult place to see them: the epic Valley of Tears. The moon was rising and the aurora was weakly appearing, until they exploded by taking the shape of the canyon and blowing our minds. One of the best moments of 2018 so far.
