Sun Power

Grabbing the sun burned a bit, but it was totally worth it!

All jokes aside, as I was waiting for the sunset to kick off, I started experimenting with unconventional seascape photography ideas during golden hour. Watching the sun peaking through the clouds just above the horizon, I was hoping for a sun star. Since nature did not oblige, I placed my hand and forearm in the frame and “pinched” the sun to make a sun star around my fingers. To me, this concept adds whimsy, creativity, and fun to an already beautiful scene blessed with stunning light.
