First peak

Screech owls had babies in the tree in my front yard. They were 8 feet away from my front door. This photo was taken the first time I saw one of the babies peeking out. The younger chick took his first peek of the world when its mom was there to protect him.
What an awesome photo and a wonderful experience to see a baby screech owl. I love your photography and how each picture tells a story.
