Lofoten received us in its most glorious way the first night in Uttakleiv beach.
The aurora was at the beginning very shy as the kp wasn’t higher than 2’67. But suddenly it exploded in the horizon and spreaded along the sky in a matter of seconds, moving at overwhelming speed. I recognize the foreground of this shot isn’t the best as this beach has countless of incredible compositions, but I was so nervous and excited I didn’t care about it at all!
Nothing more to say about this enchanting, surreal and magical lights. They gave me the most incredible moments I’ve lived up to now.
The picture is a panorama at 4 seconds, ISO 6400 and f2.8 for the sky. And 15 seconds, ISO 6400 and f2.8 for the ground. A pity I don’t have a decent camera for night photography, sorry for the noise in excess.

Amazing shot! I chuckled when you apologized for noise. No need. I’m planning a trip to Iceland next summer and this shot has me very excited about the trip.
thank you so much! Sometimes I'm too demanding with myself. Keep in mind that in summer there are no northern lights!
Espectacular tío
