Havana Gorge, Montour Falls, New York, USA
I was excited as soon as I walked up to this small gorge in upstate New York. The region is known for some of its spectacular gorges, cut deep by their rivers, however this relatively short, shallow gorge was to me far more beautiful. At the mouth of the gorge was this small multi-drop cascade, surrounded by amazing early autumn colors, and lit by a morning glow just peaking over the yellow treetops.
