Mutant Plane-Bird

I shoot this image in May 2011, but this as been going in my head for ages, even before i could use a camera, years ago while studying to become a graphic designer - never succeed to do the concept using painting/illustrations techniques.

When i decided to go ahead and photograph it it was just to get the real taxidermy wings (thru eBay) and patiently "hunt" also for the perfect toy plane - one of my favorite combat jets the F-15 Eagle.

With those in hands it was very simple, using a couple of fluorescent ligth bulbs, a tripod and my 5d2 with 90mm TS lens, i shoot the wings and the plane an composite them in Photoshop. One of my favorite pictures, i finally made the concept but still can't draw.
