After 3 winter trips to Iceland, I finally got to see the northern lights in a way so I could capture it.. Even though the forecast only said that the KP index was at 2 that night..
This is a composite, of two images taken the same night, the waterfall is a really long exposure taken when we arrived the first night, with the aurora only being slightly visible above the mountain.
The sky is taken just a few hours later, a bit further east, when everything was more visible.
