The fire under our skin

Humans are complicated creatures. Combinations of physical, psychological and spiritual forms. Many things can be seen from the outside. But there is a lot we cannot see. I find it fascinating. There is always something hidden under our skin. Hidden fears, hidden dreams, hidden powers, hidden feelings... Those things were my inspiration to make this series. I wanted to illustrate these inner powers through different kinds of fire animals, power creatures. This first one, "The Fire Snake", was my model's @eveuncovered idea. When I asked what animal would you like to be, Eve said snake. I thought it was brilliant idea! Because we women can be quite twisted creatures. And we also find this image very biblical if you remember the story on Adam and Eve.
