I met up with my friend, Brianna, of Six25Designs this winter and talked about shooting a fun editorial using some of her vintage fur coats she's collected over the years.

We managed to get our model, Amy, on board for one of the coldest days of our Minnesota winters of course (around -14 degrees Fahrenheit)! In between shots I could see her visibly shivering- we had a bit of a walk from the car so we would pile on all the coats at once in addition to mittens. She rocked the shoot though!

One excellent advantage to our winters is the weak sunlight- these were all shot without any modifiers at all- just exposed for her face.
