Kennedy Space Center

I was sent to Cape Canaveral, Florida, last week to shoot for rescue and rope access equipment manufacturer CMC Rescue. I had the opportunity to photograph their equipment being used by a Phoenix-based rope access company to do some work above the space shuttle Atlantis.

I shot from 7pm to 3am at the Kennedy Space Center around the Atlantis, shooting with mostly available light and supplementing that with speedlights when necessary. In this image, the rope access technician is lit with an SB800 triggered by pocketwizards, the shuttle is all available light.
