I would give the photo you use for your background a 4+. I know it is this pic with just the moss. The water and the embankment take away from the turtle on the moss. The expression on the turtle is the shot for me.
I'll take another look at this photo and see if i can crop in just a pinch more. He's out on a log and I had to crop already a little. I'll see what I can do.
