Cliffs emerging from the clouds on Kaua'i Hawai'i's Na Pali Coastline.
Taken from a Cessna flight around the island in early March of 2020 just before the reality of the corona virus reached Hawai'i. This was a quick trip over from O'ahu, where I live, for my 29th birthday. Unbeknownst to me this would be my last photo excursion before sheltering in place to help mitigate the effects of the global pandemic.
One of my favorite shots I've ever taken, this photograph is a reminder for me to appreciate how lucky I have been and never to take for granted my past. We never know when life can change drastically.
