When you want to do one of the great routes of New Zealand but you cannot do it in one direction, since there are no places in the shelters, what do you do? Well, do it twice, once on the west side and once on the west. Both back and forth, becoming doubly strong. This is what we had to do to enjoy the Routeburn Track, for me the most beautiful of the great routes in New Zealand. In the photo I do nothing but contemplate Lake Harris, simply spectacular
