Spring Trail

ICM can result in a beautiful, soft watercolor-like image such as this one of the trail at my local Park. The white sand of the trail, green grass and dense stand of young, thin, gray trees set up the perfect scene for this technique.

This is very well done. The scene is perfectly composed, with the green forest floor at the bottom being rendered so strongly, and hence anchoring the frame very effectively. Not at all easy to do when moving the camera during exposure!

I am curious - how many frames did you have to take in order to get this one that came out so beautifully?

Thanks for the kind words Tom! Well, I'd love to say just a couple shots but... that would be at this time. I'd been trying this technique at this location the day prior and came back to this spot to tweak my position for this one and to get the other ones in this series. The day before I took quite a few!

Glorious, Ruth!
