Early light on the Eastern Sierra Nevadas, California. Dark imposing jagged peaks cast in a mix of shadow and light as the sun passes through cloud banks to the east. I woke up at 5:30 on this morning hoping for the best as it was my last morning before heading home, and I was stunned with the amazing display of light on the mountains when I woke up.
