To create a phantom-like appearance of Alyssa, a mix of continuous lights and strobes are used.

Over a 3.2s exposure, fishing lines attached to the hem of her dress move it back and forth, while a rear curtain sync beauty dish freezes her upper half. A gelled strip box further pulls her from the background.

The result is the image of a celestial cellist floating across the stage.
