These guy love those nightshades (tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, tobacco, chiles, … etc.) I found one devouring a hallucinogenic species of nightshade and began to study, photograph and film it.
Chomp, chomp, chomp, pause, convulsion, pause chomp, chomp, chomp … pause and repeat. It was fascinating to watch, kind of funny too.
I left for awhile looking for other subjects, returning a couple of hours later I trouble locating this plant that was about 3 feet square.
For tomato growers Farmer’s Almanac recommend interplanting Dill, or Basil; or marigolds as companion plants.
Yes, those things will destroy a tomato plant in one day. I hate them with a passion. Great Shot though
