A dead tree, partially submerged. This scene wasn't too colourful to begin with, but I wanted to bring the edit even closer to the subject matter.
I used a long exposure to smoothen the water. Adding a polarising filter made the submerged branches visible.
It's bleak and cold, but there's a calmness also. The stillness of the water adds to this, I think.
