The encapsulated eclipse

The eclipsed sun sets behind the hills of the Atacama desert. This is a composite of the 2019 eclipse spanning about two hours.

Yes, this composite has the scale of the sun and moon much larger than it would have been relative to the foreground. Also, the partial phases are placed manually rather than exactly where they would have been.

I love this shot. I am assuming that over the span of two hours, you captured over two hundred images and then using a computer program to place them onto one scene. Thank you for sharing this image.
