Central Park

Central Park is one of my favorite places to photograph in all four seasons. It's beautiful year round. I look forward to comments to become a better photographer.

Lovely colours. In a photo like this you can really make them stand out using several different techniques:
-bit higher f stop
-bit faster shutter speed
-decrease ISO
-polarizing filter
-ND filter

Any one of these, or a combo of all of them could make that beautiful blue sky, the clouds, the lush green and the fall colours really pop out. :)

Digital photography is great that way. You can experiment and play as much as you like!

Hi Phil! Hope you're having a great day! Just wanted to share that I've packed up my camera to go out and play and decided to check what filters I had. I have a 55mm ND4! I'm so excited! Thanks for the heads up!

That’s fantastic - looking forward to seeing more photos!

Thanks so much Phil. I'm taking notes and will be out again tomorrow with your comments in mind. Funny, I was just googling ND filters the other day and wondered if I needed one...guess I do! Many thanks!
