I took this minimalist photo of the sea coast near the town of Makarska in Croatia, where I was on vacation with my family. Because of this photo, which I planned at home, I bought a new neutral density filter. I used a strong ND filter, which significantly reduces the amount of light that falls on the camera’s sensor. Then you can take pictures with exposure as long as a few minutes.
That day, I took dozens of photos on the coast, which I expected to be interesting, and I was looking forward to going home when I sat down at the computer and threw myself into post-production. And I completely forgot about this photo. I was even more surprised when I discovered it among other relatively boring photographs.
