Modern architecture, resting bird silhouette, and minimalism – a combination that works great together. Exactly how I like it. Thanks to this unique combination I was able to take one of my favorite photos. And now you can buy it and hang it in your interior.
Once, in 1999, I spent almost a month in my beloved Mongolia as a tourist guide. At the end of our journey through the lonely Gobi desert, this futuristic hotel appeared in the wilderness. In the midst of a totally empty and arid landscape, where the only signs of civilization are a few lonely yurts, this modern building looked like a revelation.
In the evening I took my camera, put on a 300mm lens, and took some pictures. Suddenly a pigeon came to the roof of the building. It was immediately clear that this was the perfect moment to take a photo.
