Orion, The Hunter and Birthplace of Stars

The Orion nebula is visible with the naked eye, even from light-polluted cities. With a 400mm lens and a steady tripod, you can capture more detail with even a 30 second exposure. However, using a modern star tracker, and stacking programs, with even a modest lens or telescope, the colors and structure of the nebula start to burst forth. Cliché or not, it awe inspiring to see on screen!
