Lady of the Lake

This photo is based on the Arthurian legend of the lady of the lake. For this photo, I found a gorgeous white summer dress and a bikini cover to go over it, to add more drapery to the image. I used gold jewelry, like bangles and necklaces, to accentuate the regal, otherworldly nature of this character. I purchased the sword at a local thrift store. We shot this during magic hour, as that soft and warm evening glow was perfect for this fantasy/medieval inspired shoot. The model is Mackenzie Cullum and her Instagram is @mack.joc
