What we know is a drop; what we don’t know is an ocean

I could sit by the ocean and watch sunsets forever. Not only is it therapeutic but there is something deeply spiritual in the connection the endless water provides while you look beyond. The sun slowly setting behind offers calmness but also a sense of urgency, always sharing that this moment will not last forever, things will change, and tomorrow will come. At these times, I’m typically challenged with taking photos versus spending time just watching the day go by. And it often makes me question - what do we look for in the sunset? It cannot be the moment the sun disappears below the horizon, so is it the time before or the time after?
