Carl Janaway, "The Terror of the Ozarks," 1974

During the late 1920s into the '30s, Carl had quite a career as a bank robber. The story was that he ended up in an Alcatraz cell with Al Capone himself. By this time, he was a house painter but he was always quite a character. A few months after this, someone hit him on this scooter and took one leg, but he survived years more.
