Spirits on the Trail of Tears

I carry the name of a Cherokee ancestor who died on the Trail of Tears. For us, "going to water" is a healing, purifying ritual; I went with a 360mm lens on my 4x5 camera, Fujichrome, shot the spirits I saw and turned them on their side so others see them.
