Shiprock winter light

Shiprock Mountain New Mexico
The last glow of the sun on Shiprock before a big storm rolls in if the desert. Shiprock is another New Mexico volcanic plug located north of Cabazon in the Jemez Pueblo sea and east of the volcanic remnants the from Argranath near Monument Valley. The rock pillar of Shiprock can be see from many corners of the southwest and it’s ancient dwellings. This rock hold special significance for the current Navajo residents and access us restricted. Climbing is not allowed.
