The days of waiting through bad weather paid off with this great sunset at the western side of the bay of Statafell on the south coast of Iceland, 30 miles across with Verstrahorn at the western end and Estrahorn at the east end. The the wind howled across the black volcanic sands, whipping a grinding dust into all of the equipment as I used my Tamron 17-28mm f2.8 wide zoom on a Sony A7riii, taking five shoots in Portrait to create this landscape image. Time for a hot coffee and a warm up.
