Cape Point, located in the Table Mountain Nature reserve, is the most South Western point of Africa. It is also a World Heritage site. Beyond these waters is no other land until Antarctica. It was a unique morning, the point was unusually calm and clear for miles. Known as the ‘Cape of Storms’, named by Bartolomeu Dias in 1488, this part of the coast is notorious for its stormy and windy conditions. Well worth the 2,5 hour drive through the dark to get here.
