22:15 hs on a very calm january evening after work. I usually stay overnight at the glaciers' BC when I work on the last trekking shift, as I would have to cover the first one the next morning as well. The light wasn´t great, so I chose to shoot the forest, following the Matacaballo river upstream. Past the 4th canyon, it was already getting late, so I decide to return, after a few promising images, and on the way back down I notice the sky getting clearer, and there was no more wind. I decide to spend the rest of the daylight at this viewpoint we found with a friend a while ago and walk back to BC in the dark (and without a headlight :-( ). BBQ, wine and friends were waiting. This image and one other were the winners that day.
