Stag deer, on ‘full alert’ status.
Another shot from my Stag series of images captured last year during the rutting season. I had visited this location multiple times during 2021 to get a variety of behaviours and compositions of the Stags, both before, during and after the rutting season. Their behaviour was quite wild at times but mostly I found it quite interesting how they still hung around in their groups with a fairly subdued attitude towards each other.
