12 km Mendenhall Glacier with fantastic caves. The ice cave is unique in that it changes its internal appearance every year due to the fact that the ice that melted in it forms springs. In addition, in some places there is a destruction of the walls due to the washing out of cracks by melt water. After a few years, a seemingly small crack turns into huge ice galleries.
