Alaska winter landscape

Winter temperatures in Alaska range from 0°F / -18°C to -30°F / -35°C from November to March. All of Alaska does not go dark in winter! But the further north you go, the darker it gets. The residents of Alaska's northernmost town don't see the sun for 67 days in the winter. The sun dips behind the horizon for the last time on November 18, before returning more than two months later on January 23.
