Shooting underwater was one of the most challenging yet completely peaceful experiences of my life. I have spent a great deal of time underwater and am really comfortable holding my breath for prolonged periods of time. Adding the camera posed such a challenge between worrying about leaks and just figuring out how to control myself without using my hands all while trying to take quick photos before my model, Yesika Reyes, had to come up for air or float away. But amidst the chaos, it was so peaceful and magical, really an indescribable feeling.
