Smokey eyes

My assistant (aka my 14 year old daughter) and I waited for almost 2 hours in a cemetery while my model was running late. It was such a beautiful evening for a photoshoot, which coming into winter in the northeast is rare, so even though I offered a reshoot to my model, I had my doubts about when we would be able to actually do it. The later she was, the more I got into my own head about whether or not I could even pull something like this off. I only had TWO smoke bombs and I've never ever used one before, so I had no idea where to even start with how to do it. I can honestly say the Universe pulled through on this one! My model showed up, the wind died down, my practice lighting settings were spot on from the get go, so we just had to add smoke. I am so happy with the end result of this photoshoot.
