The thing I love in this photo is the way that the expressions and body language of the two hurdlers contrast each other so well. The one on the left represents athletic confidence with open hands and an unbothered face. The one on the right represents athletic intensity with a furrowed brow and clenched fists. The complementary uniforms, opposite lead legs, and even placement in the frame truly make this picture a favorite.
