In creating this photograph I discovered the Pro's and Con's of being the Photographer and the Model. As the Model I knew exactly what the Photographer was trying to accomplish. As the Photographer I had 10-seconds to achieve the Model pose.
I spent about a 20 minutes getting muscle-memory to know exactly how to sit, where to place the arms and hands, as well as the placement of the head to cast a shadow behind the candle.
Hit the shutter, put on the sunglasses and assume the pose...>click<
